Greetings!

I am having what I believe to be a database issue.  I did a search before posting, and only found 1 old thread from a couple years ago!

I installed the latest release of Tinyportal (v0.9.8 ) on a clean (but active) SMF forum (version 1.1.4).  I have what looks to be a non default theme, however it's just the default theme with modified images & a slightly modified CSS.
I have attached an image of the message I recieve when I try to visit my forum. (attachment 1)
I initially installed the TP mod via the package manager, and everything said it installed fine, and I clicked the "restart forums" link, when I got this error.
I have also tried the Manual install database file with no luck, as well as downloading the manual install zip & trying that database installer with no luck.  When I do use that, I get a message that everything has been installed. (second attachment shows screenshot)
Fortunately I did make a backup of both my site & database before I began this, or I'd be  :tickedoff:.

I did have Joomla installed, along with the joomla hacks bridge, I did uninstall both of them before installing TP. (with the exception of the DB tables, was gonna get TP installed first, before deleting those).

EDIT:I went & deleted the joomla DB fields & tried the manual DB install again, and I'm still getting the same error.
Looking in phpmyadmin I'm not seeing any new tables being added

I have only seen this once before, and that time the member actually upgraded the wrong forum on his site, he had a testsite in another folder and the install were to that site instead of his live one.
Make sure you really do the changes to the correct site, and with all default settings for themes ( Core) and language ( English )

Only have 1 forum on my site. (backup is in zipped form)
Language is default English, and the theme is the default, with some custom images and a slightly modified CSS (for colors mainly).

Might have to look at this to figure it out.

Got the problem solved.  not sure what I did, I reinstalled SMF & used my backup db, reinstalled TP & things seem to be fine
