A new error now, with your changed file:

Incorrect integer value: '' for column 'category' at row 1
Fil: [...]\Sources\TPortalAdmin.php
Rad: 463

IchBin

I'm going to see if I can replicate this on a test install I have. If you don't hear anything from me by tomorrow can you please PM me. Thanks.

IchBin

Haven't been able to get the same results, so I can assume its only a problem because you may have a different version of MySQL than I do. Lets do a couple of things. First, change your TPortalAdmin.php file back to the original one you posted in this thread. Second, please post a phpinfo page if you can. More info on that at the following link.
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=18250.0

And last, open phpMyAdmin and on the shortname row change the cell that says not null, to null. Then try again and see if you still get the same error.

Pyntix

Here's your phpinfo:
http://www.ugms.se/phpinfo.php

And I've already tried the last one, didn't work, same error...

IchBin

Well, at this point I'll have to hope Bloc will have a moment to fix it.

Are you still having problems with your articles??

if so I have fixed mine
By changing my Database Table ***_tp_articles > shortname > Value to allow Null

And by editing the TPortalAdmin.php file in:
C:\{Directory where SMF was Installed}\Sources\TPortalAdmin.php

Go to Line:??? (whatever the error states - 463 I think) and change '$artc' to '0'

This will allow you to add articles with no errors!!!

;D

Hope this Helps you!!!
