Can't view multiple articles on homepage

Issue: Whenever I add an article and select the bubble for showing it on the homepage, it does not show unless I set it as a featured article.  Thus, I can only have 1 article on the homepage (the featured one).

What do you have set to display in your frontpage settings?

Ok, well I think I may have figured it out.  After tweaking my homepage settings a little bit, I have come up with this:

Allow guests to see news from the news board - even if guest are not allowed to see the board?: Yes
What to show on front page: Forum-posts and articles - sorted on date
How frontblocks will be shown: Frontblocks are added first
Visual options for frontpage
( disabled in Single Page option ): All checked
Articles layout for the front page: A
Show forum-posts on front page from: Hall of Fame
Number of forum-posts to show on front page: 5
Number of characters to show per forum-post: 300

It seems to work fine except one little thing.  Is it possible for me to show the forum posts before the articles?

Edit: Just to let everyone know who is wanting to know the answer to this, it seems that the "Center-Blocks" in the list of things to show on the front page is not initially checked.  When I checked this, that is what seemed to fix it.

Its sorts the posts and articles by date I think. So there's no way to sort it different in TP 0.9.8.

Oh, OK.  I guess it doesn't matter anymore, I thought of a more efficient way of posting my news articles (just make a forum post for them in a forum called "News" or whatever and then set it so they automatically show on the homepage.

If you want the articles to show before the blocks, change this setting to last
