Expanding the news

I am hoping someone here can help me out as I am a newer user to TP. Currently I have my SMF news showing on the front page however it cuts off and forces me to start a new line of text after a certain part instead of allowing me to expand the message out further since I have the space on the board.  Best way to describe it is a message that could show as:

"Fleet Database is live and available for use. You can access the database at:http://titanfleet.freehostia.com/wiki"

Instead Shows as :

"Fleet Database is live and available for use.
You can access the database at:
http://titanfleet.freehostia.com/wiki"

is there anyway of fixing that? My website is http://titanfleet.freehostia.com/smf/

e3jeremy, remember to read the stickies before you post on a support board. Especially when its your first time posting.

When you enter your text in the news remember not to hit the return key or it will add a line break in your code automatically. That looks to be the problem at a first glance.
