I had tiny portal on my site before, i really messed up the whole forum trying to get a mod to work, so i uploaded an entirely fresh SMF installation minus the stylesheet.css When to package manager uploaded the latest version of tinyportal, installed it(all success) it says it installed fince and to restart the forum to see changes.

Problem: Nothing has changed, no tiny portal options in admin menu, looks like nothing was done.

Any ideas? It says it installed fine but nothing changes.

Edit: If its relevant this is my host

When i installed tinyportal the last time, i was on a different host. When i switched over it was still working fine though.

Ken.

The host should not make any difference is this situation... actually I use the same one.  :)

When you reloaded the SMF files it wiped only those edits that are made to your SMF files, any other files and folders for TinyPortal or any other mod will still be there and may cause issues when you try to reinstall that mod.

At this point you should go to the TP docs section and follow carefully the steps laid out in the manual install docs to make sure that all files and edits for TP are in place.
Its easy to do and doesn't take all that much time.

I found out in the error log it didn't have permissions for a lot of files. I 777'd everything and installed and it worked fine. Then I chmoded everything back.

Thanks for the quick response though!
