Hide panels when on a custom page

It's my understanding that if I use the default files as a basis for my own, then I am free to share them, especially if credit is given where due.  When using other people's files as a basis, I am required to get their permission before sharing.

Can we get an official TP/SMF clarification on this one?

You can re-distribute the template files AFIAK. But you can't re-distribute the Source files.

Dragooon is correct, you can share your code edits MADE to the file/s , but not the complete SMF package or any of the source files.
