Tinyportal server specs

May I ask the server specs of tinyportal?

Anyone using smf + tp on shared hosting? What is your average traffic and how is the response/loading time?

I use a shared server, and have no problems at all (2 TP site, and 2 SMF sites).

Do you mind telling me your site addresses so that I can checkout the loading speed?

I dont give out that info. The load speeds for the sites are less tha 0.75 seconds even at peak times with 200 plus online at a time. Quiet times, less than 0.1 seconds.

How about a link to your host and package? How is your server ping time?

You might be close to your host and hence shared hosting still work for you?

I have 3 hosting accounts with different companies. The best one out of them is www.servage.net Based in Denmark (though distance doesnt realy come into it). Support is pretty good, very little (if any) downtime.

Ping times are 111ms.

Server specs? Its the basic package hosted on http://www.artichost.net.

The load seems to be around 0.20 to 0.55 at times. I probably need to optimise TP calls even further, to make the impact as less as possible on the server. I avoid very demanding sql calls though, almost no left joins etc.

Of course, if you include a lot of block code snippets that use mysql calls, that will add up. The key is to show just the things you need and spread out the blocks a little - meaning showing some on some parts of forum, others on other parts. TP needs this though: ability to show individual blocks on various parts.
