Using TP 098 and SMF 114.

When a member is deleted, the deleted member's name is linked to his/her profile. The page will display error message that member does not exist, but it'd be better if the link is removed - like what smf does, to show the removed member as guest. Is there a setting for this? Or where can i hack the code?

you can delete the shouts manually for each user...are u (and why) looking to keep the shouts and have dead link to user profile?

Ken.

You may get better results by focusing on the deleted member and researching on SMF for how to change the member to an unregistered guest.
AFAIK the only thing you can do in the shout box is delete or edit the posts for that member.

I thought about deleting the shouts, but it's more work and additional procedure for the admin to do everytime someone deletes an account on the forum. (Not that it happens all the time.)
It's more logical for it to to simply not linking to the profile if the member is no longer there. I thought there might be an option somewhere that I may have overlooked.

I'll look around at smf forum.
