I don't like Option D for front page display.  Is there any way to display a front page block with two or more blocks inside it?  Similar to having the article followed by blocks in two colums, but I'd rather have one block and embed the other blocks within it.

No, you cant add blocks into other blocks.
But you can however code a PHP article and make your own tables with diffrent content in them.. Kind of how Bloc made the frontpage for tinyportal.

I have done that in the past, but I was hoping there was a "better" solution.  Thanks a lot for the quick reply!

There will be a "better" solution.. but you'll have to wait for TP 1.0  ;)

We've been hearing that phrase for years now.  It's almost synonymous with: "go pound sand."

I do believe you both exaggerate.

And it will still be the same answer given.
I happen to know that TP 1.X.X  IS  being developed and Alpha Tested and we are not making it up to appease all of your questions.

You know, we get the exact same feeling answering the exact same questions time and again.
"Here we go again".. And yet we still answer tirelessly, though.. it does wear thin at times.

So, to reiterate...

Better solution? The site will be running itself in that case.
