Link to my site: http://www.vgrefugees.com
SMF version: 1.17
TP version: 1.05 beta 1
Theme name and version: Just a recolored version of the default theme
Mods installed: Custom action mod, Are you human?, topic ratings, Advanced visual verification, Enable/Disable Themes, YouTube BBC Tag, Streaming 3,nneonneo's AJAX ShoutBox,Custom Profile Field Mod,Google Video BBC Tag, and TP
Related Error messages: No errors.

I have a couple of articles on my site, one HTML and one PHP. They were working fine until I pulled them up to make minor edits that shouldn't have broken them.  In fact, on the PHP article, all I did (for testing purposes) was add comment marks to a blank line.  When I saved it and then tried to view it, it would no longer view.

These articles were both created under earlier versions of SMF and TP.  Did something happen in the newest version?

EDIT: from reading through the bug reports and related threads, I see that when I edit an article, it's taken out of its previous category and is considered uncategorized, which is why it won't show.  I believe Bloc has fixed this, so I'll explore that.

Thanks,

jb

Sorry about that.  I haven't posted in a while, so I forgot the guidelines.

Did you search and checked the bugtracker ?

Jerri Blank

I did and found that people were having a similar problem, but with a version later than the one I'm running.  I haven't seen any other reports of this problem with 1.05.

For now my workaround is to go into the database and change the category for the uncategorized articles in there, since the category pull-down isn't working.  I'll wait for the next beta release.

the issues are the same in 1.0.5 as in 1.0.6
