best camera under $250

I have a Canon Power Shot A710 and it rocks, it has very good features.

Sony Cybershot DSC-W5.. getting old, and there are far better cameras now. Still, I've got some good photos with it.
But I need to look into upgrading.

Powershot series are pretty decent for the $ although some have started to spit out error of ec16 or something like that...beasically ur lens won't retract....I have dropped mine (PS80) and dented it...still works no problems.
That sonny looks great we all...not a big fan of lcd being exposed all the time.
Love that site Zetan...man it brings memories.
