voting problem

I notice that after people cast their votes, the posting does not become the first posting in a forum.  It stays at the same sequence as if no new response is posted.  How do I correct that?

You cant..because the boardnews function simply get the latest topics, not the latest posts. the only way is to check if "xx comments" has increased.

The "recent topics" in a block WILL reflect new posts, by setting a "new" image next to it.
