Left side blocks  Add left block

Block is off

Dynamic Block
•
Block can be edited by extra membergroups

how do i turn them on?

btw im using smf 1.1.2

thanks

Zetan

There are Red and Green indicators. Select the Green indicator to turn the Block on.

QuoteBlock is off / Dynamic Block / • Block can be edited by extra membergroups

This is just a guide telling you the status of the blocks and what type and who can edit.

Also, make sure you are using a theme that is TinyPortal compatible.

hcaz

mine doesnt have the green and red indicators. it only shows text.
it shows activate and de-activate.

how do i know if the theme is compatible with TP?

Zetan

All themes here at TP.net have 2 theme download options. SMF and SMF/TP. Themes for TP generally end in _tp or have tp somewhere in the file name. If you have an SMF only theme, TP will not function correctly.
Bloc has been working on new themes which has the option to turn on TP compatibility and no need for 2 versions of each theme.

Switch to the Default Core theme and try there first.

hcaz

thx. the default theme works.

Zetan

I'll mark this as solved.
