tp installed fine, but..

hey guys.
ive managed to install TP, which was easy.

everything went fine, but there is nothing i can control/edit under admin/tinyportal cos theres nothing under it! is this problem normal? im thinking its because of a non tinyportal theme. its a custom and i want it that way.

any help would be great on making changes to template to fit tp.

Feel free to read the sticky's or even search the board for your problems. Most have been covered many, many times.

Themes must be for use in TinyPortal in order for them to work correctly.

You must always set your forum to the SMF Core Default theme to install any mod including TinyPortal and only after it is working correctly do you start working with themes.

Thanks for the tip Ken, I'm a reletive newb and have been installing mods on top of the theme.

Could explain the catastrophe I had earlier today.  Had to start from scratch.

Try the search function junglejim42 and you'll discover lots of information on how to cure this issue. 

Search Tip: Did you have any other mods already installed? If so then you need to include that in your search.
