SMF 1.0.8 with TinyPortal v0.8.6, how to upgrade?

Hi everyone! I currently have SMF 1.0.8 with TinyPortal v0.8.6 installed on my server. I wish to upgrade both scripts, SMF to 1.1.3 and TP to 0.9.8... is this possible? If it is, what should I do first?

Should I upgrade to SMF 1.1.3 and after that, upgrade TP to 0.9.8? What other considerations should I have in mind?

First step will be to update SMF to the latest version 1.1.3, for that you have all the info you need and the upgrade package on simplemachines.org
When you have made the update for SMF you simply download and install the latest version of TP through the package manager.

To be safe you uninstall TP before you upgrade SMF
