Ugh...

[IchBin]

So I sit down tonight and I'm thinking to myself, "It's time to work on your theme again!"
So far I had about a third of the index.template done. I login to my computer and bring up my editor, and come to find out I no longer have that index.template file located in my documents. As a matter of fact, I'm missing quite a few files from my documents folder. I think my daughter had some fun on my comp today. To make things even worse, I haven't done a backup for 2 weeks. So here we go again.... starting all over.

Was hoping to upload it soon and get a screenshot to post for all to see. You all will have to suffice with just the name I've chosen.

TANGO

[WebMasterZ]

Sounds like "You have been tango'd"

Not logged on with a different user name and looking at a different "My Documents" location

Get yourself "toddler keys"..if she is under reading age that is..

Ah, the joys of backup - or rather lack of... We learn the hard way it seems.

Cool name.

Speaking of backups..I think some one Tango'd  me as well.

My server hard drive crashed last night. Not recoverable as in it is now suitable as a paper weight but nothing else. I thought backups were configred on the server but they were not. My bad!

Once again...making a server change. I have been using a development box and had planned to move to a production server in a few months but am making the change now.
Intel Celeron 2.4 GHZ
DDR512
2 x SATA 80 GB drives with Raid

AND off server backup by the host...no more Tango for me!

Sorry if I hijacked your thread Ich but I need to vent. What a day.

I feel your pain Phil. Good thing is, it's prompted me to create a batch file that copys my files to a folder and uploads them to two of my websites for offsite backup.

Great idea IchBin! Care to share your batch program?

BTW: Cool name for a theme.

It's at work, so I'll have to write one up again. I'll post it later.
