Using tables within blocks/pages properly?

Hi There!

Just converted to SMF and Tinyportal from Integramod and I'm a very happy bunny 

One thing that is getting on my nerves is how hard it is to make table work correctly within blocks or the main page. One of the advantage of my old portal is you could basically paste code straight from Frontpage/HTML editor and it would show fine.

When I try this using a HTML block, tables dont seem to work properly. They distort the whole site, or they spread out leaving a big white space at the top which I cant find the code to get rid of.

Also... for some reason, extra lines are inserted in the final output and when you look at the code, their isnt any code to make that happen??

If you paste in html code into a block, be sure to set blocktype to "html/javascript". The normal block parse smilies and such..thats why your code get messed up I suspect.

I am glad you like TP. ...btw what is "integramod"?

OK will check I am using the correct blocktype.
