After installation, everything links to forums

After installing, which seemed to go smoothly, both the Home and Forum tab seemed to go to the page after TP was successfully installed.  So, I tried to make it so the forum tab would go to the forum, but instead, it seems that all the links go to the forums now .  I'm trying to revert back to what it was currently set to, but I'm unable to save the changed settings.  Any way I can fix this?

Did you edit the index.template.php file manually ?
For the homebutton you have set the /index.php and not index.php?action=forum

HTe theme you are using is not a tp theme.  GO in your admin panel and delete that theme and then go in with ftp and delete that themes folder.   Then download the TP version of that theme and all should be good.

Well, after the installation it was set to http://www.frown-guild.org/forums//index.php and both the home and forum button would be the same, so I tried to change it so the forum would link to the forum page but now it seems it got all screwy and everything links to the forums page.

I'll delete the theme and see what if it fixes the problem.  Thanks for the input.
