Error After Installing TP

Did you have any failures during install? It seems to me something is happening in the file copy/editing process. I don't know enough about it to pin point exactly what is going on. Have you guys tried the manual install?

i got the same error.  it installs fine, never encountering any errors at any point, until I click on "restart forum" and then it bombs and gives that error.

what do we need to do for the manual install?  does that consist of running the .php script after uploading the "files only" version of tp?

You may just have to upload the files if the install went fine. Give it a shot and see if it works.

For the manual install that's exactly what you do. Upload the files and execute the install script.

got it to work, just overwrote the files using the file only upload.  thanks alot
