I have been using SMF for a little over six months now on two seperate domains. On one, I installed SMF andTP from the start. Now though, I'd like to install TP on the other forum too.
So why don't I? I hear you say.

Well, the thing is, when I initially set up SMF on the first site, I installed it under the directory www.indigochronicles.com/forum. I would like to install TP into the root directory (www.indigochronicles.com).
Is there a simple method of doing this? It'd be great to have the TP articles to be the first thing people see when visiting the site. I don't really want to have to move the entire forum up one directory unless there's no other way.

Thanks,

Twilight

You cant do this at all as TP is dependent on the SMF forums files and directories.
TP have to be installed to the same direction as you have your SMF.

OK. No worries. After looking at the scripting in the TP files I soon realised this was going to be no easy feat. I'll just move the Forum up one directory, reconfigure the settings file and then install Tiny Portal in the usual manner.

Thanks anyway,

Twilight
