TP during upgrade

I have 1.1.2 SMF with TP not showing in installed packages (it is installed),

my idea is to:

1) upload clean 1.1.2 files (uninstalls all mods, right?, then if needed I clean also modlist manually)
2) upgrade to 1.1.3

3) getting TP back: but here I am at a bit of a loss.. I want to keep my articles and such, if I use package installer will it overwrite the TP database? Is manual install here the only option?

You will not loose and thing from the TP no matter how you install it.
It will only update the tables, not remove anything.
So eather way will work
