TP Special Project - Google Help Required

Hi everyone,

I've been working so hard on my TP/SMF site and am absolutely delighted with how it looks. It has lots of social network features such as images on profiles, buddies on profile, galleries, blogs etc, etc.

Like all of us what I need now are some members - at the moment we have 4000 ish posts from 140 members and the site has been running since January 2007.

I was wondering what can be achieved from such a talented and knowledgable community such as ours, so here goes...

The task is to get into the top ten of a Google search for the term 'Lancashire': -

Are there any SEO specialists out there that can assist with general advice?

If you have a TP site could you consider linking back to www.rewindlancs.com with the anchor word Lancashire - this may help to improve the Google PR?

If you have any advice at all it would be really appreciated - can you help to make my site successful?

Wilsy Dude, You need to study SEO

I never did any study of this myself but i know there are multiple subjects about this over at SMF..

Try search keywords here on TP and over at SMF: "google, SEO, Sitemap, Metawords, searchengines, spider.. etc."

Im sure you will spend the rest of the day reading this interresting stuff.. also a few mods have been made for this

 a one word search is very narrow, easier to think of what ppl would type in with Lancashire ie. Lancashire chat, people, pictures etc

always good to do research into which ones people type in often, goggle sujest is on you could look into.
