Small issue with manual install.

Ken.

Firstly:
Because of some file permissions problems with my server I thought to do the manual install for TP and it worked out very well.
TinyPortal v098 is installed to SMF 1.1.2 and everything appears to be working normally.
Mods installed:
   Mod Name     Version
2.    Users Online Today Mod    1.4.0
3.    Custom Action Mod    2.04

My issue:
This is not a large issue because as noted above TP is working as expected and no errors are showing up in the error log however when you look at the files in the package manager TP shows as not installed.
"1.    TinyPortal    0.983    [ Apply Mod ] [ List Files ] [ Delete ]"
I've gone back through the manual install files and did searches here on TP but so far have not found what I need to do so that TP shows up as installed.

Should this be the case for the TP entry in the package manager after doing a manual install? Should the package simply be deleted? Or maybe just leave it as is like I've done so far because it's working OK?

Thanks for any help... Ken.

That will happend when you install manually, the package manager only list whats been installed in side it, so all mods that you install manually will not be shown there.
Some say that you can install the mods there now when you have them working and that way get the to list there, but i tried that one time and it made a mess in some files as it placed in code so i had duplicates.  :-\

What you can do now is to just delete the file from the [delete] button, it will only remove the zip package from the packages folder in the forum dir.
