I have moved my smf + TinyPortal to another website.

I did it the "hard" way by uploading the files, folders and database from my pc - localhost, and then entered the various "setting" files etc. to change the all path to  the new site.

The operation went well - almost, because one block is not performing.

in the Recent Topic box following error message pop up:
QuoteFatal error: SUHOSIN - Use of preg_replace() with /e modifier is forbidden by configuration in /var/www/*****/Sources/Load.php(198) : runtime-created function(3) : regexp code on line 3

How do I solve this problem?

kind regards

Have you used the repair_settings.php file from simplemachines ?

If not, download that file from their download site, tools, upload it to your forum root directory (where you have the forum installed) and point the browser to it.
The blue lines is the correct paths to every thing, it also checks if you need to change any permissions to a file or more.

tried the repair_settings.php but the error message is still there

Next step is to update the DB on the server you have moved the things to.
It might be that you had a diffrent version on your local machine

SMF, download the upgrade package (big one) extract the files on your local PC, take the upgrade.php and the 2 .sql files from the package, upload them to the forum root and point the browser to upgrade.php

The same for TP
Download the TP manual DB install file only, upload, point the browser to it and it will update.

Are you sure?

I downloaded all the latest programmes last Sunday before setting up my new forum.

I have modified the programs and added other block contents. Every thing was working.

Yes im sure.
The steps i said doesent change anything to what you have installed, just the DB will be updated/and or changed for the server you are on.
It will check what software the servr is running and make the changes according to them.

is it the "TinyPortal 0.9.8 Manual install" or the "TinyPortal 0.9.8 database install" you mean?
