SMF 1.1.2 & TinyPortal v0.9.8

How do I configure TP to only show blocks on the "HOME" Page, but no where else?

akulion

Go to the ADMIN panel click on SETTINGS (under Tiny Portal)

Then click on FRONTPAGE >> What to show on front page:Front Page Blocks

Then click on PANELS >>> Use center panel: >>  Hide center panel when in forum? YES

Thats should do it

And ofcourse then create the blocks and activate them

Ok, one more thing.  ;D

I want a specific block to show up in two areas of the website, such as in the FORUM index and within the Boards themselves, just not on the HOME page. Can you advise?

rebelrose

What kind of block, right side, left side, center?  You can create these and at the bottom of the block after you add the text, there are options that will allow you to show it in certain boards.

This is true, but, it seems to only allow you to select one option.

It's a left block, and it's currently only displaying in the FORUM index, but I want that block to also show within the BOARDS themselves.

So far, I've selected "FORUM" on 'Show for this action,' and for 'Show when inside this board,' I have one board selected, but I don't have the option to select "ALL" boards...

How do I correct this?

Well. I'm currently having essentially the same problem.
It can be fixed with a short bit of code added to the php, but I don't know where this code is stored.
I already have a topic up asking for this info.
Once I have an answer back on it, I can show you how I plan to do this.

OK. If you follow IchBin's link now, read the thread. I finally figured out how to do this.
If you have any questions on it, feel free to ask me.
The solution there has worked flawlessly for me.
Good luck.

EDIT: I take back the flawlessly part... I just discovered a few problems with it... It works great for the most part though.
