After successful install, no front page?

SMF 1.1.2, installed TP 0.983 through packages manager, successfully.

Was expecting to have something of a front/home page to SMF, but see no indications of it existing.

So, I then uninstalled/reinstalled TP with same results.

The forum works great, but not home page provided by TP.

Q:  How do I verify (other than in the packages manager, which shows TP installed succesfully) install visually?

Q:  Am I not supposed to have a home page (shout outs etc) after install, even if blank?

Q:  What do I do next?

This is what I'm installing TP on --

This is my old guild where I first saw TP used (SMF 1.1.1, however) --

Thanks in advance,

Are you installing while your on the default theme? If not, did you check the default theme to see if it is installed? If you're not seeing the changes, then you'll probably need to do the manual install. There's a guide on that in the docs board. Just remember to always install SMF mods while you're on the default theme.

Yes and No.  The board's default theme is the WOW-DK theme, which was loaded while doing the TP install.

I think you're saying I have to change the board's default theme back to the SMF default theme, then install TP, and then change the board's default theme back to WOW-DK?

You are correct Grok. You should always install things from the SMF default theme.
