TP Mods directions?

oop! I didn't mean a module per say. (Like the Downloads Module?) I mean, how do I go around creating one of those nice packages that'll do a bunch of cool stuff to TP. It's TP specific, so I'm needing to know how to do it in TP not SMF. Here's what I plan.

The package will allow you to select a board that becomes your "Bug" board. It will create a new column in the board and label it "Priority". It will then create a new block that will display all your "Bugs" in a side block, sorted by the priority. I'm pretty sure that I could code it, I'm just needing to know the taboo for TP coding.
If this is pretty much the same thing as a Module, I'm sorry, I guess I misunderstood.

Well we don't have anything like that around here really. What you're wanting could be considered as a module I suppose.

OK, Thanx. I'm looking at the SMF Mod stuff right now. I guess I'll just have to hard code a block snippet through the SMF install somehow. I'll deal with that in a new topic if it comes up as an issue. Thanx!
