Hi,

I recently converted my PhpNuke 7.7 to SMF, and wanted a TinyPortal.
Everything went fine, untill I tried to install TinyPortal. I downloaded the newest version, uploaded the package, and first it said It's not writeable. I made a dir called "temp", and then it dit install.

When TinyPortal was done installing, nothing has changed. Everything is still the same, and I can't use the Portal.
What to do?  :(

For what i know you have to go with the manuall install package.
First you can try to download the manuall install package, extract the files to your local PC and then upload all the files from the package to your forum, overwrite when it prompt youto.
Refresh and see if the portal show up.
Offcourse all this with the forum set to DEFAULT SMF Core theme, nothing else.

Thank you very much! I will try that now

Still nothing.
I tried it before with a test-forum, and everything worked fine. I am using no mods, no other themes, just the default SMF (1.1.2, and the 0.9.8 TinyPortal)

If you got it to work on your local, try to just run the manual_tp_install.php to get the db tables in, upload manually the TP files and simply copy over the modified SMF files from your local. It should work then.
