hello to all TP fans! :)

everything was working fine for months with my forum (SMF 1.1.2 + TP 0.9.7) ...and then i got this email from my host provider last nite, with a notice that my account has had to be suspended due to excessive server usage. after several email exchanges with the host support, the problem appears to be that the forum generated over 100 SQL queries at some point, which has required my hosting accnt to be suspended :(
after investigation, the host support team forwarded me this:

index.php?action=keepalive;1173547875500 HTTP/

saying that there were 1000's SQL queries of the above type in their logs for my accnt.
anybody can help please? i'd like to figure this out and get my forum online asap. could this be a script code bug? or hack attempts?

Thank you.

Lesmond

This seems to be an SMF issue, I have just done a search over at SMF and found 14 search terms with "index.php?action=keepalive"

Thanks for the quick reply Lesmondâ„¢ :) However, i searched SMF and came up with only this thread:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=66862.0

from Grudge's info, i have to replace the script.js file and then edit index.template.php.
But, i do not see any attached script.js file to download and replace in my current forum installation.
Am i missing something?

Btw, seems like this problem was supposed to affect only v1.1 and not the latest version... i'm running v1.1.2 and still experiencing this bug..?

To see attachments in the posts you need to be registerd and logged in to the forum

If you still dont see any attachments, you have the file in the SMF upgrade package, take it from there.

IchBin

That was a bug that was fixed quite some time ago.

--edit--

I would suggest you post this over at the SMF forums in the server and configuration section.
