Will TP install on SMF 1.1.2??

Do you have a link to your site, it's muich easier for us to help you if we can see for our self that you actually do have TP installed in the first place.
The blocks should be visible as default both on the main page and when in the forum.

hi pauls dad
please make sure of a few things.

- Your theme is TP Enabled (Tiny portal uses special themes available here (ull find additional themes in each folder Bloc, etc) and in this board - additionally if you have a custom theme you can request theme conversions in Crips Board)

2- also make sure you have blocks enabled and turned on - for a guide on blocks you can refer to this document

if after the above ur blocs still dont work then please start a new topic stating ur problem
