Button generators hebrew support

Hello
I'd like to make a hebrew version of one of the themes (i.e. oxygen) and start by replacing the buttons to have hebrew caption ?
is that possible ?
i tried using the button generator but it desplays gibrish when i type in hebrew.
just found this http://www.tinyportal.net/button-generator/apollo.php
and switched to UTf 8 works fine.
anychace to get plain buttons without the icons like the helios theme has for the oxygen ?
