Removing Search columne

Hello. does someone know how could I replace search box with shoutbox ? I would like to have shoutbox instead searchbox...I have tried to find code in the index.template.php but I could not find it...I have code of Shoutbox...but...where to put it ??
I am using Cerberius theme and it is cool !
