SMF 1.1.1, TP 0.9.7, Default (Core) theme. No mods.

http://www.underoneroofexchange.co.uk/index.php

I've just updated and now have a few problems to sort out.

When attempting to view profiles, either my own or members, I get a plain white page with the following error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tpsummary() (previously declared in /home/underone/public_html/Sources/Profile.php:2942) in /home/underone/public_html/Sources/Profile.php on line 2992

Any help would be apprieciated, thankyou.

It means that on your /sources/profiles.php, there is a piece of code (tp summary) that has been written in ther twice. Find where it has been duplicated, and remove the duplicate.

hope this helps.  ;)

Thankyou Maya, I'll give it a go and let you know how I get on.

hi Maya,

You were right, there were 3 duplicate blocks of code in that file. Once I'd deleted them the profiles worked fine.

It's looking like I've managed to install TinyPortal twice. There are 2 forum buttoms, so I'll be going through every file hunting down the duplicate code.

Thankyou for your help.

This seemd to happend to the members that used the TP V.096 hack before the TP V.096 from Bloc were released :)
The uninstaller didnt work in the hack as the lines in the XML file didnt had the correct changes made for the removal of code, just the Install part  :)

Was just looking at your site and I see you still have dub lines of code in your index.template.php file. go to that file under your default themes folder and look their for the dub code

Rebel

G6 you guessed right!

I installed TP using zip file TP097. Which failed, TP installed fine once I got hold of TP0971 except for the duplication.

Ray thanks for pointing me in the right direction. You saved me a lot of time.

I've stripped out most of the duplicate code, at least all that I've found so far. The menu now has just one "forum" button.

Thankyou for the help and guidance from everyone.
