Hello, I have TP 9.7 with SMF 1.1.1 and I have uploaded several files into 2 new categories.  When I download them, the File Save window does not have the filename in it, just the work "index".

The log is full of errors like:

http://www.ps3hax.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=get4
2: file_get_contents(/home/deepstac/public_html/ps3hax/tp-downloads/iview399.zip) [<a href='function.file-get-contents'>function.file-get-contents</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
File: /home/deepstac/public_html/ps3hax/Sources/TPdlmanager.php
Line: 909

The file and directory tp-downloads are there and everything is 777.

Any ideas?  thankyou.

A permission error.

Try and change the permission to the tp-downloads folder through FTP or Cpanel and also the files in that folder and check if they work again

Thanks G6 but everything is CHMOD to 777, the tp-downloads folder and all files within it.  If you hit my link above, does your file save name come up as "index"?

What could cause this?  The download works, it just isn't associating the filename with the download?

Not all servers support 777, so try and revert it to 755 and see if it helps
