New install on 1.1

Hello...i am trying to install TP on a freshly installed 1.1.  I was able to upload V097, FTP the files and had no errors.  When given the install button at the bottom, it acts like it is doing something but it sits at a white screen for a long time.  I have tried to install it several times.  Each time I have to delete the tp_097.zip from the packages folder and do all the steps again.  Any idea's??

Thats because it's not updated for SMF 1.1.1, Unsinstall the 1.1.1 patch and install Tp and then apply the patch again.
And if you encounter any more errors, please look for the other threads made and answerd to allready.

I did a fresh install of 1.1 and have not added anything else.  I have done this several times.

Version Information:
Forum version: SMF 1.1
Current SMF version: SMF 1.1.1

It uploads fine, all the tests come out fine but when I go to install it just sits at a white screen and does not install TP.

I got same problem: Fresh install of SMF1.1.1 (not an upgrade from 1.1 RC3) I am unable to install TP 0.97
Error message is "The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF. "

Should I try manual install? I am not very happy to do it manually tho.

No you should wait until Tp V.098

And if you are in a hurry, do a search for the answers, this have been posted a lot of times now.
