Is there any way to add a second menubox like the contents box?

I use the default content box for additional navigation around the forum but would like to be able to add a second one for links to other websites.  I don't want to add these links into the default box.  I just want a second one.

I created a menubox but I am unable to enter any links into it.

You can add another html box/block that you will have to code manually with html.  You need help with that feel free to ask.

I think Bloc is going to address this in a future release.

hmmmm, what would the code look like in there?

Looks just the same as it would for an html page. give it a go, its easy enough (if I can manage it, anyone can). Type it up in your favorite editor and copy/paste it itno a block (I find changing the block type to htmal/javascript works best).

The basics of a link would look like this WSA.
<a href="http://www.google.com">Google</a>
If you wanted to make an image for a link it would look like this.
<a href="http://www.google.com"><img src="/images/google.gif" /></a>
If you have any problems with formatting the block let us know, we will help. :)

Put in target="_blank" inside your a href tag to get the link to open in a new window. This is the whole reason I use a plain HTML blcok for links vs the content menu since there is no way (that I have found) to get links to open in a new window from there. I don't want to make users hit the back key to return from another site.
