So I think SQL is fine, but when looking at the forum .. there is nothing changed as well looking through FTP, no new file / directory is there. ??
Wht it could be ?
Though I think only SQL is done, updating and uploading of files is not execting somehow,
Though I installed other packages to see proper functioning of package manager at my forum isntallation and they get installed without any jerk.

I am now thinking to manually upload files as well as use premoded file, though premoded files are not getting downloaded somehow !!

TP doesn't have its own folder, it adds files to the SMF folders. There will be files starting TP in the Sources folder and in the default and Babylon themes.

If you installed the package through the Package Manager it will have put them into their correct folders. If all you have done is upload and run the tp_install.php file you will need to FTP the files from TP_097_files_only.

I was unable to get the package manager to complete, so I installed TP 0.9.6 on SMF 1.1 RC3 by uploading "files only", and running manual_tp_install.php. It reported no problems. The database now has the tp tables.

I started smf but noticed no change, and particularly no admin options have been added. I tried loading sources/TPortal.php, but it displayed a message something like "attempted hack."

I do not know what to expect from a successful install. I assume that the install was probably not successful. On the other hand, maybe I have to install a TP theme before I see anything different ... or not?

What was missing was the manual edits.

The job was made easier by uploading "Premade manual install files for SMF 1.1Rc3 - TP.V096 Beta" from http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?topic=9632.0.

Maybe this post will help others.
