I know you can add BBC to the news on your forum.
On a persons forum, I have seen it display the latest member registered(in news)

I am wondering how this is done.
I tried typing in ssi_latestMember()
but it just brought that out in text.

Any support on this.
The website I saw this on was simply SmurfTalk - http://pvcblue.com/forum (refresh until seen)

In with the latest member I would like it to say Please welcome [new member name]
I dont know how though

He just has it in the news fader, it is no trick to it. You just add the news with a welcome to the newest member or members, you can have more than one news item showing and turn on your new fader to show like the one you mentioned.
