left/right panel not showing on frontpage

smf 1.1r3 and tp 0.9.6
left/right panel not showing on frontpage, when 'Hide panel left/right when in forum' in settings set to 'no'.
I can only have them turned on or off all the time.
Frontpage was set to news, then to one article

I have another website with 0.95 when it works perfectly.
I tried to turn on/off some frontpage settings, but with no luck.

What could I have done wrong?

If you have done some research and read some posts, you would have known the answer
Download this file and replace it with your old one in the Source folder.

I sure G6 must have just missed seeing your edit on your first post.

The fix for the problem was posted, I am sure it is just an oversight that it was not updated in the zip file. I are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
