Lost in the sauce

Ok I am in newbie this is my fourth post and I am very confused with TP.  I have  been surfing all the info on this site and still cannot not come up with the right tp version to download.  What is the difference.  On the top banner it says TPv0.9.5 which I cannot find anywhere.  On the download section TP v 0.9.6 then there is talk and I have seen some real nice sites using v0.8.6 what are the diffences?

Newer versions is the diffrense, so if you go with TP V.096 ( the latest) you will be good.
