i figured if anyone would know it would be you. :) is it possible to have a custom image on your website be assigned to show up instead of the red x for removed pics?

other members can answer as well if you know. ;)

Yes, just rightclick the red x and properties.
Name what ever image you like to show instead to the same name you got when you rightclicked it.
Although, the image often need to be the same size as the origial as they are placed in tables and forms that will puch things around if you dont have it the same size

Well if u are looking for a method that requires an "automatic replacement" for missing images, I dont know of any really

But I did come across a handy script which replaces a missing image with "text" but it requires you to replace your existing image tags with a special tag + add some javascript to our page. I havent tested it to be honest but u can get the script here

thanks guys, and thanks for that site aku. i have added it to my bookmark collection of handy html and script sites.

if u come across a method to auto-replace images anytime be sure to share - that would be a great script to have
