Installed TP, see nothing on my forum?

I have made a test website at the moment, to test SMF and TP.

I've installed a fresh version of SMF RC3 and TP. I've uploaded everything manually to the ftp. So far, so good.
Now you have to run manual_tp_install.php

Like this: www.nissanclub.nl/testwebsite/manual_tp_install.php

Everything looks ok, but I see nothing on the forum?

What did I wrong?

Did you miss the step where you have to manually add code in to some of the SMF files ?

Well, thnx. Indeed, I forget that step.

But now, I have this problem:

if u have a test site with Fresh SMf then dont do manual install

just run the package through the package manager in the admin panel of SMF

its the easiest way - ur only makin things extremely hard for urself

ur best bet right now: replace the files for SMF, so that its like a fresh install

then just install TP via package manager

The problem is, SAFE MODE is on, and I get errors with the modification file in Package Manager. So far so good, then I do it with the hand

Download this zip file, and extract it on your local PC.
Then upload and replace the old files with those you just extracted. Refresh and see if it works.

Thnx, I'll try it tonight. At the moment I'm at my work, so no FTP possible.

When I do it with Package mangager, and a fresh install, I get this error:

8. Execute Modification tinyportal09x-11rc3.mod Modification parse error

Can someone tell me what it means?
