New Block Editor Trouble

Hi!

I just updated, troubles solved but one:

The new WYSIWYG editor for Blocks sucks big time! Yes, i do see what i get, but i cannot edit what i can't see: I tried to change soemtheing in my pulldown menue that feeds a javascript and if i click HTML i get a "kind of what's in my block" text, stripped of most tags but containing the option. If i edit those it all goes to hell, because the editor does only paste the stripped version back and the pulldown menu is lost, only the options as text remaining...

I had to switch off my translation block because of that

Is there a way to switch it off?

Its in TP settings. Just uncheck the editor, and do it manually.
