I installed TP in a test forum so I can play around with it and learn it before putting it on my forum. It said TP installed successfully but I am missing icons in the Block Manager and Artical sections, I'm missing

In artical:

de-activate
activated
activate

In Block Manager:

de-activate
activated
activate
Send
Move to the left side

can someone offer me some help??

To the rescue!! :P

Did you make sure that you are using the TP theme version of what ever theme you are using (Amber)? Did you check on the default theme to see if you are still missing the images? If you're already using a TP theme, then just copy the images from the default theme to your other theme or upload them from the TP package.

I tried the default SMF theme and all the icons were there. I'm a bit confused with your second part of the answer, where do I get the images and where ( exact folder ) do I put them in?

G6Cad

If you have Tp installed, just copy the whole image folder from your default theme over to Amber theme and overwrite the images, that way all the images gets imported from the default theme as they should have been during the install of Amber

I have made custome changes to my "Amber" theme and don't want to overwrite all the images, can you tell me where to find the missing icons and where they go and I'll do them one at a time

Thanks

Maya

a suggestion to try if you are missing buttons...
right click the red X ( where the button should be showing), and choose properties.

This will give you the path where the theme is trying to find these buttons, and what the actual name of the the missing image your looking for is..

ie : 'activated' button may be called 'TPgreen.gif' and the path where it should be will look something like
'http://xxx.yoursite.com/test/Themes/Amber_smf11RC3_TP/images/TPgreen.gif

this is where the theme is looking for the button,
first thing would be to check that file and see if the image is there
if theres no image, upload it to that file directory and it should appear without anything more than perhaps a refresh of page..

;)

heres a few just in case

Duh!! I knew I could do that but just didn't think about it............lol

Thanks for reminding me it worked and I now have my icons
