To get a gradient background PhotoShop has a gradient tool

well i managed to make some buttons but the "wrong way"

i took one of those buttons above....

'rubber stamped' them over

changed the size - put my own gif and text

played around with the hue & saturation and VIOLA:















Thanks for the tutorial  - i HAVE to learn this...these buttons are cool
