Updating to 1.0.8

When updated to 1.0.8 will Tiny Portal not work? Will I have to re-install it? This is the first update of SMF I have had to do since installying TP? Just wondering before I move forward.

When you upgrade your SMF you need to reinstall TP.
The upgrade of SMF will remove the TP code in the files.
TP V.086 does not support 1.0.8 and no support wil be given to TP V.086 now when TP V.095 is released. TP V.086 is archived.

How ever, when you upgrade to 1.0.8 there is no reason you should not instll Tp V.095 and you will not loos any data. Tp V.095 will fetch and update the DB, but all thecontent will still be there after the upgrade.

You dont have to uninstall Tp before the upgrade, run the update package for your forum, and when you are done with that, download and run the install of Tp V.095 through your package manager and you will be done
