TP 95 Install Entirely Too Easy

Being a noob, I was bracing myself for venturing into unknown territory.  I read lots of posts, including the manual installation instructions.  I backed up all my databases and pulled down a copy of my SMF RC3 directory and thought about what I would do when everything blew up.  I began to think about where I would turn when problems arose.

I was so excited when I saw the site logo change and pulled down the new files as fast as I could find them.  Sadly, I had a busy night last night, so my install had to wait until this morning.

So I made another backup, ftp'd the files up, set the theme to default, and hit the install button.  Boom, boom, boom... no errors.  "Hit this button to refresh your forum" and it's just beautiful.

The whole experience was just over too soon.  It went too well.  And for that I thank you.

Woohoo! Another happy ending. :)

Yes, install is actually kind of frighteningly (is that a word?) easy. I just wish that everyone was as prepared and thoughtful about the installation as you. :)
