Hide leftbar on Start/Newspage

[XyXEL]

well... i would like to hide the rightbar on(in? at?) the forum and the leftbar on the startpage just like on tinyportal.co.uk

But in the settings i can only hide it in the forum... how to do this for startpage?

[akulion]

just simply turn the right bar off and thats all

u will find this in the admin settings for TP

it will say something like "Use right bar:" just click that to off and it will dissapear altogether

[XyXEL]

... so the right bar would be not shown on the startpage...

i would like to have the right bar shown on the startpage, but not the left bar

ah, i found out myself... i just deactivated the rightbar in the forum and changed this code links:

index.template.php

find

Code Select Expand

// TinyPortal integrated bars
          if($context['TPortal']['leftbar'])

replace

Code Select Expand

// TinyPortal integrated bars
         if(!$context['TPortal']['rightbar'] AND $context['TPortal']['leftbar'])
