Missing Blocks in Admin area on installed themes

I knew I was missing something when I installed a new theme. In the admin area if I set the default theme to the two themes that came with SMF everything works fine. When I set it to A theme I have just installed, blocks go missing and I am not sure why. I have checked and rechecked things and really am at a loss.

I have included two screen shots of what is going on. I am using a TP theme and have tried several of them with no luck. The only themes that show the right way are both the ones that came with SMF.

Any suggestions to what I might be doing wrong would be helpful.

well forget everything I just said...

After hitting my head against the wall for the past 4 hours I decided to hell with it, uninstalled the theme, then went into my FTP and saw the theme was still there. Deleted it, then reinstalled the theme and it works....

So... if you have this problem, I would suggest following the above steps... minus the 4 hours of hitting you head on the wall.

In the end I think the problem was the way in which I installed everything. I installed SMF 1.0.7 from my host PC install menu, then upgraded to or down graded or cross graded to SMF 1.1RC2, then installed the TP theme then Tinyportal. next time maybe install tinyportal first then the theme.
