Does TP add this code to the index.php file?

Hi,   :)

Can anyone tell me if TP adds the following code snippet to the index.php file (SMF 1.1 RC2):

$magic_number = md5(GetHostByName($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']));

//if (strcmp($magic_number, '749494354253648626ef3d9985838490') == 0)
if (strcmp($magic_number, 'xxx a8e335e5d576a749332f58adfbd1c5f4') == 0)
{
  define('MT_DEBUG', true);
}

if (true)
{
  define('MT_DEBUG', true);
}

I installed TP several months ago and after experiencing a few difficulties, decided to postpone implementation.  I just now noticed the above code change and I am concerned about it’s origin and whether or not it is malicious.

When I commented out the code, I lost the theme (Classic) and only forum text and data was displayed.

Thanks

Dave

No, that code is not something that comes from TP installation.
The code TP add in index.php are these strings

// TinyPortal include
       require_once($sourcedir . '/TPortal.php');

// TinyPortal
        TPortal_init();

// Action and board are both empty... BoardIndex!
                if (empty($board) && empty($topic))
                {
                        require_once($sourcedir . '/TPortal.php');
                        return 'TPortal';
                }

'tpadmin' => array('TPortalAdmin.php', 'TPortalAdmin'),
                'forum' => array('BoardIndex.php', 'BoardIndex'),
                'tpmod' => array('TPmodules.php', 'TPmodules'),

Crip

That looks like some other php code output error..don't think thats TP.
I have become comfortably numb!

Thank you both for the quick response.

If it isn’t TP code, I think crip may be right that it is error or error handling.  I did have to run repair_settings and correct URL’s after moving the forum files and database to a new host.

They say that it is not SMF code and I just wanted to make sure that it wasn’t required by TP.

I’ll post back on when we figure out what the problem is.

Thanks again.
